Frequently Asked Questions

What work are the Dolans doing in Cambodia?

Since August 2007, Rich and Ronda Dolan have been working in Cambodia, teaching men and women about God’s plan of salvation through Jesus, and equipping them to teach others. They have overseen the graduation of 42 students from the Cambodia Bible Institute, 31 of whom received a Bachelor’s Degree from the Sunset School of Preaching. Their students have gone on to plant churches and teach their families about the Good News. In 2007, a city of 3-4 million had only 2 congregations. There are now 6 for certain, and many other students have returned to their homes in rural areas to be lights in their communities. In total, over 23 new congregations have been planted in the country as the result of CBI students' efforts.

In addition to teaching students year round, Rich and Ronda oversee the translation of Bible study books from English to Khmer. Books like “Historical Christian Evidences” by Ed Wharton and “Life of Christ” by Richard Rogers reinforce and further explain the truth that students read in the Bible. This is a thriving and growing effort to give the people of Cambodia every chance to be affected by the Truth. Many denominational leaders use these books, giving even more people the chance to read Acts and Romans from a proper perspective for the first time.
